German carrier Lufthansa is now selling almost all Allegris seats onboard its new Boeing 787-9 fleet, marking a major turning point in a rollout that has been hampered by regulatory red tape. The airline is now selling 25 of the 28 Allegris seats fitted to its 787 Dreamliners, with bookings open for travel starting April 15, 2026.

Since it first entered service in October, Lufthansa has been flying the Allegris cabin on its flagship 787 Dreamliners almost entirely empty as certification hurdles hold up its new seats. With the majority of seats in the cabin approaching full certification, the airline’s lucrative premium cabin will come online just in time for the busy summer travel season.
